WASHING MACHINE MAN by panelgutter WASHING MACHINE MAN by panelgutter
A dumbass superhero I thought up..when my washing machine conked off.

If only Washing Machine Man and his faithful sidekick Vacuum Mutt were there to clean up!!

Now here's a hero duo I would like to have around.
Washing Machine Man - Here to save mankind... From the Evil Dirty Laundry!!
And along with his faithful sidekick Vacuum Mutt, he ignores no threat, however small, from those dirty little Dust Bunnies!

Hehe, great work! I love the concept of "cleaning up Evil," which I see you took quite literally. :giggle: I can't wait to see more of your work in the future!

You've managed to capture the true spirit of parody with this one.

I hope you go onto give him a short comic !

Nice and silly, just the way we like 'em.

Despite, or perhaps because of the above, I do actually like the design of both characters, even if the far too intense light corona around WMM's chest detracts from the picture in its entirety. I'd tone that down substantially. Then again, I'm not getting the impression this (as in the picture) was done in complete seriousness, so I'm probably overanalyzing.

Oh, and the mutt reminds me of a cartoon I used to watch years back. Birdman & Dynomutt I believe it was called, or at least, those were the main characters. It was more of a comedy thing than an actual hero & sidekick situation, but even the fact I remember it almost twenty years later means it must've been fun. So that's a positive reference, just for the record, and yes, that was a long way to go to say it.

Hm, I think I'd add one additional layer of gloss (or "gloss" in this case, since it is rather simple) to the brighter metallic parts (i.e. the mutt's head). But I dig it either way.

peace

Heh, coolness. Remember though, a real superhero needs:
a) a slogan, and
b) a supervillain enemy

The first one is easy, but I can help you with the second if you need it. Questionable Stain-Man. Leaving stains of questionable substances on clothing. First target: Monica Lewinsky's dress :]

Heh, I'm feeling particularly silly today, so I'm going to stop typing now.
