Impressive work. The pose is nicely menacing (if such a thing exists) and the clothes and gear are very detailed.

I'm not that fond of the textures themselves, everything looks plastic and shiny, and while I can see the bracers or sword being metallic - that's fine - his hood and the robes should be matted down some in my opinion, it looks like oiled silk as it is.

Also, the proportions. While I realize that heroic relations are supposed to be around 10 - 15% higher than normal ones (I believe it's measured in heads - as in a normal body is 9 heads tall, while a heroic is up to 2 hole heads taller), his noggin is really too small for his body, and the arms are a bit on the gorilla side of things.

Shadow is too sharp and crisp.

Now. Despite all of the above, it really is a very well done piece of work, especially considering the medium used. Respect, dude.

peace
I agree with the cloth texture bit.Any advice on how to go about it?Using custome brushes seemed very tedious considering the contours od the cloth and light and shade.

As for the proprtions its copied down pat from the reference pic....at least most of the time.I was too frazzled by the end to correct things. But it looks pretty close to the original.
